Lavender.

This has come up a lot recently. Lavender. We have it all throughout KORU. Why?
It goes back to our primary intention with everything we do, from basic instruction on biomechanics to breathing in sub-freezing water: we are teaching you how to make “it” easier.
Honestly, that is the priority in a nutshell. Whatever the context, our focus is to bring awareness to how we can create more EASE.
Sincerely. Everything we offer is built upon this foundation.
Lavender supports this. Lavender, aside from smelling great and being beautiful to look at it, helps promote a general sense of ease.
“DIS-ease” is essentially just that, the opposite of “ease”. Do we always want to feel “at ease”? Relaxed? Not anxious? Not in fight or flight mode? No, sometimes it is necessary and it is good to feel uncomfortable, and even afraid.
If it exists, it has value. All of our feelings have value, even the “negative” ones.
The question which is relevant to all contexts is, in short, “What is enough?” Most people would probably agree we all could use a bit more “ease” and a bit less “disease,” which is to say, in our lingo, we could all benefit from knowing how to organize ourselves and to regulate our nervous system.
Lavender supports this skill. This capacity. Hence, we use it literally every day, in almost room, and in the context of everything we do. It’s even part of “down regulating” after an intense movement session.
So, do you have any? Just in case you didn’t know, @barefootbotanicals and the @peacevalleylavenderfarm sell the product we like the most. Whether it’s a syrup we put in our coffee or an essential oil we diffuse in the “wet room”, we buy from one of these two places.
Check them out if you haven’t already. They’re great stocking stuffers, to say the least, and they’ll really help with everyone hopefully slowing down for the winter…
