Since some of you have asked, yes, there is more to my nutritional world than coffee and @curiositydoughnuts
In fact, almost every day, especially on the days when I am most active, I enjoy some version of this muddy treat.
Honestly, I think food related posting is one of the silliest things we do here on social media, because it seems to contribute to a tendency to overcomplicate the bejesus out of nutrition.
Yes, obviously what you eat, when you eat, and how much you eat is extremely important. Generally, though, it is simple, and, it is learnable.
I’m a fan of simplicity.
In short, once it’s actually feeding time 🦍 (which is usually late morning), here’s what I often do to make a consistently nourishing and delicious smoothie:
-A cup of spring water @mountainvalleywater
-A handful of berries, usually blueberries.
-A scoop of protein, either @foursigmatic or @primalkitchenfoods
-Some mango, avocado or banana
-A scoop of @athleticgreens
Done.
Blend it up with the Breville, and go nuts.
Is this the exact smoothie for you? Probably not. Some variations are inevitable, but after over a decade of trying different blends and different supplements, I can say for sure that this works best for me, and in general, I think it will work for you.
As a general rule, though, remember, everything comes down to context, and right relationships. In other words, as much as I love these smoothies, the 🍩 aren’t going to stop.
