Any others?
Yes, SOME THINGS can be discerned in an EITHER/OR manner.
But not many.
Mostly, it’s just, “I’m right, you’re wrong”, because of opinions and stories.
“They’re wrong.”
No matter what the context, this always just turns into the same morality game.
Is that what we truly need? More morality?
That’s just more bad “religion”.
Absolutism, if you will.
The problem is, essentially, we think that we know FOR SURE. No more questions… Got it…
Done... Finished. Nothing more to learn.
Truly, though, there is SO LITTLE which falls into this category. Mostly, we are just “supposing”. Mostly, we don’t NEED TO think moralistically. It’s honestly just lazy. Intellectually lazy.
Odds are, quite frankly, that by thinking this way, we’re just recycling the dogmatic context from whence we came… and are probably trying to rebel against...
At the very best, again, this is lazy. Intellectually LAZY.
…
Here are some of the few things we know for sure:
We need clean air, and water, and connection. We have spines, and we damn well better know how to organize it, lest we want to be in pain.
What else? It gets hot. And cold. Learning to regulate the nervous system in 25 degrees or 200 degrees is a good idea whether you like BLM or not.
It’s not hard to recognize our opinions, and to live a life NOT based on them. It really isn’t. We kinda just have to want to, and to trust that we can. It requires humility, and a willingness to keep learning.
Alternatively, from what I can see, we truly just reinforce the war.
Come sit with me in the ice for 3 minutes, then we can talk.
