What is KORU now?
“What is KORU now?”
It’s always been a bit tricky to best represent KORU.
From the beginning, we’ve been committed to offering a wellness model which is as fully integrated as possible, and that’s been quite the challenge.
We consider biology, ecology, physics, astrology, religion and spirituality, and even economics and politics. Heck, we even consider the architectural relevance, and of course, all things cultural.
Our foundation is certainly more kinesthetic/physiological, and even psycho-somatic, but we’ve never wanted to only highlight those points of view.
The bottom line, as we’ve seen it, and the most honest way to present KORU, is to simply say that it is a place of learning. Our wellness model is, essentially, an educational model.
In short, these are the main 3 points:
1) We all have a lot to learn, especially with respect to “health”.
2) Understanding the body, with movement, in relationship to all aspects of life (even, yes, politics), is necessary.
3) Thankfully, the learning cannot and does not ever stop.
As we see it, the more of us who remember these facts of life, the better, and, in short, that’s why we’re here.
