I can ramble.
Yup, I can ramble.
I guess I had to get something off my chest!!! Thanks in advance for listening.
What exactly is this about? Well, I have this funky degree in religious studies. Not surprisingly, people ask me about “spirituality”, and, of course, “God”.
Well, if you’re curious what I believe, and if you’re curious how this relates to MOVEMENT and THE BODY, give this video a listen.
It’s very “organic” (I even mixed in some wild animals!!!), and, it’s very honest.
Again, though, most importantly, not a hickey:
1) religious/spiritual concepts are inevitable.
2) they’re most powerful if they are built upon an understanding of neuroplasticity/neuroscience/physiology.
3) aka, THE BODY
4) the body, and how to take care of ourselves, is most effectively understood in relationship to our environment/s
5) aka, context
6) mostly, the context to understand is: everything is connected, there is a continuous constant process, and creation is inherently mysterious.
7) in short, we likely can never have it all figured out
8) this is very liberating, if you don’t miss the opportunity
9) what’s most inspiring about this awareness is the increased capacity to simply enjoy who you are, and to share that joy
10) if you’re spiritual/religious concepts serve this capacity, power to you.
