Especially as we age, these patterns can manifest in dramatic and debilitating ways–back pain, sciatica, and immobility– that prevent us from fully living our lives and doing the things we love. We may be confronted with expensive and risky solutions like surgery or cortisone shots that focus on relieving our symptoms rather than addressing the root causes of our pain.
